Lobster Tails

Today I bought the larger tails at SAMs they were ok. I will stick to the smaller ones from the grocery store here on out though. Just a better texture and maybe more tender IMO. Cooked at 250 indirect.

I do them direct at 350-375, the bigger the better. Lean meats do hot and fast very well, big pieces of shellfish do just fine.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

I can't tell the weight by the pic but indirect for shellfish (in the shell) needs to be a higher temp or just go direct and stand watch closeby.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!
