I have cutco knives, I have cut fingers too. Owned now for 15 years, multiple lascerations, have yet to sharpen any of them.
Still sharp. If you buy them, get a first aid kit, a big one.

There are a lot of you that have posted to have these knives for years without sharpening!  This sounds like the right blade for me when the time comes.  Never even heard of these before........I will just wait to see them at Costco one day and then probably jump on board....
Just bought an Egg?  Here is what you get to look forward to now:

Plate Setter, FlameBoss 200, Spider, PSWOO-CI, Additional Rig Shelf for dome cooking, Thermapen, iGrill2, Cast Iron, Blackstone, Cooking Accessories for the Blackstone, Cover for the Egg and the Blackstone, shopping for Rub like a fine wine or IPA, and a new fascination with lump and what brand is the best-all to be debated every Friday Night.  Next desires-Joetisceriie, Adjustable Rig, Grillmates, table and more eggs

Somewhere the Cutco kitchen scissors was touted as being great for cutting spatchcock chicken backs out, so I got one and use it exclusively for that. It works well on what is a painful job for me. That's the only thing I use it for.

They are sold direct. You will need to find a Cutco rep or go to cutco.com

Also re: scissors and spatcock - well, if they can cut a penny in half, a little bone and muscle would be no problem.

I have had the same experience with our Cutco, we have a basic set of kitchen knives, steak knives, cheese knife and the scissors. We are going 10 plus years of ownership and all are sharp and just as shinny as new. Not cheap, but did help our friends son while in college.
