1st Turbo Butt

Someone please talk me off the ledge, 4 hours into turbo meat temp is 185, grill temp has been mostly at 370 but in the wind and rain here in Durham, NC it has dropped to 331 and I keep opening vents but temp stays at 331.  Any suggestions?

Rookie advice.....stop chasing the temp and just let it ride.  You are almost there!!!
Just bought an Egg?  Here is what you get to look forward to now:

Plate Setter, FlameBoss 200, Spider, PSWOO-CI, Additional Rig Shelf for dome cooking, Thermapen, iGrill2, Cast Iron, Blackstone, Cooking Accessories for the Blackstone, Cover for the Egg and the Blackstone, shopping for Rub like a fine wine or IPA, and a new fascination with lump and what brand is the best-all to be debated every Friday Night.  Next desires-Joetisceriie, Adjustable Rig, Grillmates, table and more eggs

  • Even at 330 it should finish in no time.

  • I'm just letting it go not touching the BGE, temp is down to 300 and butt temp at 199...as REO Speedwagon would say, Ridin the storm out!!

You may be running out of Lump....not sure how much you started with......or just need to move some lump around.  199 you are close in temp, not sure about the feel, which I have already learned the hard way is soo much more important than the temp/time, so you could be almost there, you could have a little bit to go.  I would peak at your lump if it isn't too hard to do so depending on your accessory supply!  (this would be a classic example of the beauty of the Woo and why it is a must have IMHO)
