Friday nite shortribs

thawed out some shortribs from the freezer. Indirect for a few hours, then foil pan with beef broth for about an hour and a half. Then back on egg for another hour to set up then glaze. Not my best, but not the worst.

That is some fine looking meat candy.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

They were good.  And they looked really good.  But not quite as tender as I usually get them, but I kinda got rushed so it was my fault.

There is nothing  at all with putting something on your plate that just tastes damn good!  Everyone knows....we don't go to KFC for the chicken...it's all about the Mashed and gravy!

  • I was just kidding.  I made those potatoes and the gravy with the drippings from the ribs. I foiled them with beef broth and then used that for the gravy.  Sad thing is my boys would prefer KFC taters and gravy.

Well it sure looks like you stole their recipe!  Wow!!  They must be good!!!!

Side dishes are really becoming my challenge now, so a quick trip to the corner to get some KFC mashed is not out of the realm of possibilities for me!  LOL
