For those of you with a pressure cooker, here is a simple, yet fantastic roast recipe. And it can be done in under 2 hours from take off to touchdown including the prep. If you don't have a PC, it can be done in a Crock Pot, slow cooker, Dutch Oven or even in a pan on your BGE. It will just take longer.

Ingredients:
Red pepper flakes
Salt
MSG
1 bag of frozen season blend
1 lock of hair from a hippies head.
3 Bay leaves.
1 quart beef broth or stock.
1 can of cream of mushroom.
Montreal steak rub
1 pack of Lipton onion soup mix or McCormic beef stew mix. I use both.

Season the roast with the Montreal Steak rub.

Brown the roast a little to accumulate some beef drippings.

Then sautée the season blend in the beef drippings.

Then add the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, MSG, red pepper, bay leaves, meat, lock of hair and the pack of Lipton onion soup mix. Cook until just before tender.

Open it up and add carrots, mushrooms and potatoes.

Cook until everything is tender and the hair snaps at the lightest tug.

Dip you out a plate and enjoy.

Sorry some of the pics are not real clear. It's hard to get a good pic inside of the PC due to the rising heat and vapor. With that aside, I hope that y'all enjoy this simple but delicious meal my friends. Thanks for looking and may the Thunder Gods bless you with a head full of long hair.

Funny, not a lot of people around using PC. I think the best way to cook deer meat is 15 lbs for around an hour. The pot likker with scratch biscuits are off the chain

The PC works wonders on wild game. I cook most all of my rabbits and squirrels in it.
