Sunday's Ribs
Saturday night, Mrs. G said why don't you cook some ribs tomorrow? Like that was gonna take some arm twisting...
Got the Egg fired up and the ole' faithfull Flame Boss hooked up, prepped the rack of ribs and rubbed them down with Sucklebusters Hog Waller (I think, it was something from them), tossed them back into the fridge and we headed off to Tractor Supply to look for pumpkins and some square hay bails for decorations.
When we got home around 11, I tossed them on the Egg that was chugging along nicely at 225 and got on with the rest of my day. Didn't get any prep pictures or mid cook pictures. In fact, this is the only one I remembered to get. Almost done.
Duke approved. Ate 3 ribs all by himself along with some cornbread.
Only one bone left. Apparently, we're gonna have to start making more than one rack of ribs if he keeps eating this way.

Nice looking ribs and pictures of your boy! Appears you'll have to throw on two racks in the near future though.------------------------------

Seeing Duke enjoying your delicious ribs brought a smile to my heart. When my children were small they would ask for "dinner with a handle"....ribs, chicken drumsticks, lamb chops, & oysters on the half shells ( ). As young adults they still request these favorites but with a twist, now cooked on the Big Green Egg.
It's nice to see your posts again Griffin. Your blog was a "go to" for me when I was a new egger.IL -
Great photos, nice ribs. I've seen a lot of places that sell racks in two-packs...LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI.
If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard... -

Thanks everybody and thanks @LetEat . Always nice to hear that I was able to help somebody along the way. Dinner with a handle...love it!
@XC242 me too, but the wife was the one who went to the store and picked these up. The rack was a little on the small side for what I would pick.

He's growing like a weed @Mickey You never really believe people when they tell you how fast time flies when you have a kid until you have one.
