Just got back from the butchers with some flap steaks.

They sell it by the  pound around here.

I got it from the butcher, I guess five in a bag. I split it and vac sealed one in each bag. I believe it's what you French-Canadian guys call bavette. (joking, I remember your post)

Not so much in the GWN. Maybe in the big cities but not in the wilds.

LOL, it used to be my favorite cut of beef.  That was until I got my hands on the ribeye caps at Costco in the states...
