might be helpful if there were a rationale shared with the forum re what gets nixed and what doesn't, so that no one makes the egregious mistake of posting about Cam Newton again.

we know the "friday night lit" threads are not forum friendly, but in otherwise innocuous posts, when some brand names seem to trigger the buffalo, and others don't, it leaves everyone wondering what is verboten.

personally, i am hoping there's a rational reason (e.g. "we don't want to promote other brands here, good or bad"), rather than just one person's preferences.

Clearly there are many examples of inconsistencies of toleration which must mean there are more than just one buffalo riding watch and what ticks off one doesn't bother the other until shift change at the car wash!

I'm obviously very new here, and plan to be here for quite some time, as I enjoy forums and with this being my newest hobby..........

With Football Season here, and many of us SPECIFICALLY cooking on Egg's during Football Games, etc...having some OT conversations about Football and the things we talk about when watching a Football Game, should be encouraged, not discouraged, as it keeps us on the forum, where we can talk about this kind of stuff that goes hand in hand, and thus, having us available...well....YOU all available to help out cooks like me who are just learning how to do this stuff.

I was not here for the thread that got Buffalo'd, but those would be my thoughts the matter FWIIW.

Haha.. I like their history.  I do know Raiders and Broncos don't mix well with one another.  

The game, meh, it was the first game.  Panthers don't have that monkey on their back like last year.  Year is still young.  Both teams D look really good.

just why does the off topic threads show up in the egghead main forum, isnt there a simple way to lock that out. most forums simply move the thread out of the main forum, not buffalo a non violent, non political type thread

I did call scam an expert locksmith (thief) and post a pic of him in full thug attire. That may have did it. The world may never know.

I did post a "thug" pic of him. I would repost it here but we already know what would probably happen.

No I'm not asking you to post the pic. I was just saying I didn't see it. The "rules" seem to spelled out but, threads are deleted even when they clearly don't violate forum policy.

If this was an over-moderated forum, strictly to the rules, this would be boring and less trafficked.  Be happy with what you have, so what if the buffalo actions don't make sense to you - worst thing that happens is fewer people see your comment or thread.  This is not a big deal unless you're still saving your points to cash in on an XXL.

No big deal to me either way, but I find it funny that in 1969 we put men on the moon, but in 2016 we can't delete one offending post instead of having to 86 the entire thread.
