Cheap second rack for Mini Max

So, I was at a local dollar store looking for something that would serve as a low-profile trivet to be placed between my plate setter and Dutch oven in the Mini Max. I small spotted a wire rack with handle and thought that, were the handle to be cut off, it could serve as either a trivet (though not a low-profile one unless I bent the legs a little) or a little second rack (for wings, chicken breasts, etc.).

For $1.75 (CAD), I think it was an excellent purchase! When I clipped the handle off, it was shiny all the way through - I had half expected for it to be only a thin shiny coating. I just hope it's safe for Egg temperatures!

That's a cost-effective solution for sure. Like you said, curious to see if it withstands high-temp cooks,

@paqman: Just flagging this local find. Got the last one at Dollar Ou Deux in Place du Centre, but I would expect it would be likely that other Buck Or Twos may have them.
