Ever tried this lump?

Cant even really pronounce the name. A customer of mine, a local restaurant, gets it in by the pallets. Give me 3 bags to try, they are 40 lb bags. Said if I liked he would sell to me at great price if I wanted, think I will :) I cooked my first cook on it last night. Doesn't flame up like others I've used, not popping and sparking, and not a ton of white nasty smoke.

Only 3 stars on the Whiz, but if you're happy then that's all that matters. I've never seen it

It is Friday and this is a lump thread...What could go wrong??  FYI-lump discussions here are more charged than any political or religious topic.

As above, if it works for you then have at it.  BTW - the above review is 6 years old-lots of carbon dating can occur in that period  ;)
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Looks like 3 stars in ash production and burn time, but a final grade of above average and a user rating of 4.17 (out of 5), so it seems to be pretty good.  If you like it, and you get a really good price, go for it.

If you like it, and it's a good deal, buy a pallet and put it to the test. Then go back to your current favorite. That should tell you

According to the folks at Kebroak (or at least their copy writers) their charocal provides "The Best Flavor and Better Tasting Food than any other charcoal".  So if you want your food to taste better, you need to get this brand.  =)

It is interesting if you try to go to the website printed on the Kebroak bag, you get redirected to Fogo's website.  Nothing about Kebroak is visible on that site.

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’  Dare to think for yourself.

looks to be the fogo address.  my guess it's their restaurant brand, bigger bag for more day to day use.
