Eggtoberfest Sold Out???

Just went to buy my Eggtoberfest tickets and they're already sold out!  I don't remember them selling out nearly that fast last year.  That sucks big time!

Seems to me that anything selling out that quickly will have a lot of scalpers with tickets, so you should be able to get in, although at a higher price.

Meh. Come to a forum event (brisket camp, butt blast, etc) and you won't want to mess with that corporate hoopla anymore.

Seems like it has sold out in just hours the last couple years.
As it gets closer forum members will be passing tickets off here as their schedules have changed and they can no longer attend.

A savvy organizer would take care of the overflow with an EGGNovember Fest.

I'd say it's worth going to once if you can get tickets.  Just for the spectacle of it, and it actually works out to be a pretty good deal when you look at the swag and beer tickets they give you.

But I totally agree that the smaller fests are where it's at.  Heck, some of them are even free!

I just told this to two of the guys that were planning on coming on our trip down. I told them like 3 times to buy them and now they are all pissed. I gave two away the weekend of last year on the forum. You will be able to get some.

It's not just the last couple years back in the day when it was at headquarters it always sold out the same day and you would see them on craigslist for $100 a ticket.

I just checked my email.  I bought tickets last year on 9/29.  Sold out a LOT faster this year.
