Ground lamb burgers topped with sliced feta cheese and a fried quail egg on a toasted potato bun.
My FIL is a foodie and very difficult to shop for so this past Father's Day, we gave him a card telling him that we were going to take him to the Dekalb Farmers Market in Metro Atl. He was thrilled bc he has wanted to go there for some time. (If you have never been there and are in the Atlanta area, you should make a trip sometime.) We spent the afternoon running every aisle and came out with a couple carts full of groceries. It was a fun day!
I picked up some fresh ground lamb and stumbled across some quail eggs during my venture. My original plan was to use the ground lamb in some of my wife's marinara, but my schedule changed. Anyways, I switched it up to using the lamb for some sliders. They tasted great!
LAMB SEASONING
Salt
Pepper
Dried rosemary
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Paprika
Cumin
Oregano

I did use my Mapp torch to accelerate melting the feta.

Gorgeous pictures! (Though I'm not completely sure why it was important to you to tell us what phone you took them with -- I think it's the photographer, not the device.) I've never seen feta that I've thought would have sliced like that, though I've never tried. The whole thing looks gorgeous and sounds wonderful!

Looks good, I love lamb burgers.
How did you end up with all three yolks intact in one pic and all three oozing exactly the same way in the other? Did you have to puncture them to do that?THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -
I just looked at quail eggs in H-Mart Sunday -but didn't buy them
Nice looking cook!

I prefer the lettuce on top of the burger. I prefer all "toppings" on top of the burger. They don't call them "bottoms". They call them "toppings".
Still have no idea is "they" is.

Yes, it does. There is some settings to work through, but it will do it. I switched from iPhone to Samsung several years ago just because of the camera ability.Cookbook_Chip said:Nice pics, too. Hey @Big_Green_Craig does your phone do depth of field naturally or are doing some post work?
