Looks like a very straight-forward tripLouisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Photo Egg said:caliking said:That's an even better idea! I remember getting a pretty good stuffed chicken the last time I was there.
3 different kinds of stuffed, boneless chicken. My Fav was the one I almost did not buy. It was stuffed with seasoned pork. It was diced/cubed pork, seasoned and then stuffed into the bird. It was better than the rest.
The year before I took home a little from 4 different stores in the area. Best Stop was indeed the best of the ones I tried. Boudin was also excellent at Best Stop and my fav of the 4 places. -
Thanks @DoubleEgger. We'll have to see how we're doing on space. We'll have an SUV packed full of "moving to college" stuff and "3 days in Grand Isle" stuff - and I'm flying home.
@lousubcap, I think @nolaegghead got the map just about right - in terms of guesstimating when the adult beverages will kick in. My son will likely be driving the boat (and sober) at that point, but he will be getting some direction from others...
And by the way - we don't have extra space in the boat, but we do have extra space in the house - and they have others for rent - so if anybody wants to join us and make it a party, we'll be there August 20-23.XXL BGE, Karebecue, Klose BYC, Chargiller Akorn Kamado, Weber Smokey Mountain, Grand Turbo gasser, Weber Smoky Joe, and the wheelbarrow that my grandfather used to cook steaks from his cattle

The boudin balls are cooked and ready to eat at Billy's. It was a life changing experience.
All of of them are right off the interstate too.
