For those interested, the Red Cross is taking donations for those who were effected by the "once in a thousand years" flood.
Thousands are needing help. It is amazing this situation has not received more media attention.

Ron....many were most kind to those in SC when we had flooding. I will make a donation. Thanks for bringing attention to this.

Thank you. I sent in a little bit. These folks lost everything. Their jobs are gone, their cars are gone, their homes are gone. Most only have what is on thier backs.
I will try to send more.
A client and friend lost his family's business, started by his grandfather, destroyed by the flood. His home is ruined with mud and mold. They are pulling up stakes and moving somewhere else to start over. They were a bit more fortunate, than most, in that respect. Many of these people do not have the means to do so.
Meanwhile, the annual wildfires in California get all the air time. How many homes were lost so far?
