I've never done one before but thought I'd give my heart a break with some white meat! And thanksgiving is right around the corner so what the hell get some practice in with the bird. My local BBQ joint uses the same boneless bird so this will be an attempt to get close to his.

My 26 yr old son said why make a whole turkey when you can have this!?! It came out very good and juicy. I did brine and lightly smoked with pecan and apple. Just applied salt and pepper and dusted with Meat Church Honey Hog. Cooked at 275 for 5 hours. A definite do-over and possibly in the line-up for thanksgiving. -

Different brand but I do those all the time and then use my meat slicer to slice thin. So much better then the deli sliced. Makes for some great turkey salad as well!!
