Got home from a wedding last night and deci
ded to throw a pork butt on the egg. 14 hours at 250 degrees with cherry and hickory for smoke. I used Lambert's Sweet Rub O'Mine for the first time and really like it. Great color and flavor.

I really like Sweet Rub OMine' sauce, here's a bit of back story on this sauce. The guy who owns this company is the brother of Malcom Reed, they complete together on the BBQ circuit. Malcom has a website / YouTube called 'How to BBQ right' ... He does quite a bit of 'Q on his Big Green Egg in addition to his other pits. If you haven't already, might be a nice place to check out. My favorites, today :), are moonlight bbq sauce out of Owensboro, KY and Rub Some Butt Carolina mustard and vinegar sauce. Complete opposites but both really tasty.
