Pepper Stout Beef on Ciabatta

I found chuck roast on sale for $2.40 a pound; I'm thinking, "Pulled beef!" I basically used this recipe: http://www.thewolfepit.com/2009/10/pepper-stout-beef.html?m=1

Smoked over hickory at 250 for three hours. Then added veggies and beer - back on for another three hours at 350. Then I pulled the meat and reduced for about 20 minutes. It was great! I just cook in my camp oven sitting on the plate setter. Sorry I didn't think to take a pic while smoking the meat.

Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

@bgebrent @blind99 @JohnnyTarheel Thanks y'all. I love these easy cooks where you just sit and enjoy a cold adult beverage and wait on the goodness.

6 hours does not equal "a cold adult beverage".  Pretty sure you intended to say "beverages". ;)

I've had these camp ovens since the kids were in scouts. I still enjoy using them - on the egg or with coals.

This is exactly why I have kept my camping Dutch Oven. I love cooking this, and there is nothing better than hiking and climbing all day, then getting back to camp, and having a wonderful roast for dinner.
    Killer meal my man!
