that base plate is an interesting idea....
EDIT: just back from the barber and drove by the local Pool and Spa store. he switched over to Primo. Not sure why, but he wasn't exactly a knowledgeable BGE dealer to begin with

That is a cool video. I love watching manufacturing processes. I was a little sad during the part where they applied the cheap felt gasket though.
It looks like these kamados come fully assembled.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -

6 Eggs: (1) XL, (2) Large, (1) Small, (1) Minimax & (1) Mini - Egging since 2007
Also recently gained: (1) Gas Thing (came with the house), (1) 36" Blackstone Griddle & (1) Pitts & Spitts Pellet Smoker -
Now it all makes sense, domes dont align, indents when ceramic was touched but not hardened all the way, etc.Austin, Tx

And people want $15/hr to flip burgers. Go lift those heavy bases and domes. I am surprised that none of them had a respirator on with all the dust.

The kiln they are fired in was used to make toilets before Primo bought it to make grills. Its huge.
