Final pic doesn't do this plate justice. Wife grabbed the "staged" plate. Haha.
Top 3 best meals I have made. Shrimp were some I caught myself which makes it even better. Grit cakes made with leftover grits from yesterday Am. They were unreal and pan fried on the mini.

When I was done with breakfast, I sprayed cooking oil into a shallow dish and spread the leftovers about half an inch think. Covered with wrap and then cut them, egg wash, flour, egg wash, panko and into mini. So damn good.Battleborn said:that looks amazing. Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

Bravo sir. You killed that. I tried something similar once with grilled grit cakes. They were ok, but as you can imagine they were a little spongy and the texture wasn't great. I am sure frying them they were incredible. I am putting this high on my list of things to make once I reach my goal of not being quite so fat.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
