Stone Soup

This explains a stone cook from a couple of days ago.  The pot pictured is cold, the cooking heat comes from the stones.

That is really cool and would be fun to do with guests. It looks like it tasted pretty damn good too. Great cook.

That is cool Doc!! How long does it take to cook and did the initial heating of the stones do the trick or did you have to add more stones as the cook went on?

To be honest, you would need a hell of a big pot to accommodate enough soup and stones to cook them.  Actually the soup was quite good, we will be making this again but probably not with hot stones.

All the ingredients were quick cooking, but you need to make sure you have plenty of hot rocks.  Do an internet search for Mexican Stone Soup.
