I have the one you reference. It is a good unit. Made of plastic, but made in Germany.

Does the borner v 7000 do real thin or is it just two settings of thickness?

Get the V7000, It has the adjustable thickness. I have the Red one. It's faster and you can't see if you nicked a finger.
