Birthday Sous Vide Ribeye

Got a birthday present to complement my BGE from a year ago. Used the sous vide device on a ribeye and then seared for 90 seconds each side. Great medium rare outcome with locked in juice and moisture. Reverse sear is nearly the same but this method is more consistent. Plus it allows for more beer time!

Nice setup.  I am awaiting my Joule from Chef Steps that was also a birthday gift.   Made the poor mans version early last year and had some good results.  Enjoy :)
Like the plastic container and metal rack.  Was that purchased from ANova, or somewhere else.

Good job!!! Don't you like dialing in the desired finished temperature on your sous vide?

@Woody, the container and rack both came from Lipavi (via Amazon). The container and lid is a C20 and rack is L20. I was surprised how well the polycarbonate retains heat. I was experimenting previously with the beer cooler method with good results but the new device makes it perfect. Used it again this weekend!

@RRP, yes...dialing in the temp is great! Might try some ribs next.
