Sure you are right but why would you want to come here if you didn't have an Egg? Aren't there a lot of other independent forums out there? The real common thread here is BGE. 

Why would you care why someone without an egg might want to come here, does it degrade your experience?  Maybe they choose to come for recipes, techniques, general information, entertainment?  Cooking is cooking, smoking is smoking, grilling is grilling, the brand name stamped onto the devices we choose is objectively irrelevant, yes?   If people on a brand specific forum get all territorial & weird about it isn’t that their issue…

It's no skin off anyone's butt what cooker you use.  If you post photos of a cook where it's evident the brand is not BGE, then who gives a rip?  Just mind your manners.  If you use a cooker other than BGE, it would be best to not shill that brand on the BGE owned forum.
