Brisket at 300

Next week we're having a cookout at work and my buddy's tossing me his 6# brisket to smoke for it because he can't fit in his small egg with the big slab of pork belly he's also cooking. Seeing as though I won't be able to get my smoke going till after 6pm and need to be at work by 5:30 the next morning, can I run my smoke at 300 degrees instead of 250?

assuming you will have some trim, you may be at 5 lbs when all is said and done. It will cook in 5-6 hrs so set your schedule around that.
