Mid-Week Cook: Steak, Fries With Schwartz's Seasoning

Beef seasoned with Worcestershire while grilling and Schwartz's beef seasoning while resting.  Fries started in cold oil and seasoned with Schwartz's fries seasoning.  Nothing more to say.  @Skiddymarker , This one is for you.

Tonight I had tacos, I'm pretty sure I hate you!
Can't beat the fry seasoning from Schwartz's, it is excellent. My grandkids are addicted to the stuff. Their beef seasoning is also a favourite, much better than Montreal Steak seasoning. It is time to re-order.

Nice work brother paq!  I've done the cold oil fries and have been disappointed.  Interested in your take.

Solid looking meal for sure. It is 5:30 am and I want that for breakfast.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

@bgebrent When doing small batches, I always use the cold oil method.  It does not work well with a full basket because the fries tend to stick to each other.  To avoid the sticking, I stir and shake them often during the early stage and again mid-cook.  I prefer this method with thicker cut fries.  IMHO, they come out as good as the fries made using the double fry method that some of the best Belgian chip stands use around here.

I think I've straight up eaten 1 of the 5 bottles I ordered straight. That stuff is soooooooo good. MSS from McCormick is a sad substitute now that I've had it.
