Shredded Beef Ragu Pasta

I found a nice Brisket point that I trimmed down to 3 lbs and had some Chianti, so I figured what the heck.... I would try a Beef Ragu pasta dish today.  



Next I chopped up some carrots, celery, garlic and onion for the base.  

Heated up a 7qt dutch oven and seared the brisket for about 5 min until it darkened.  

Removed the brisket and prepared the base for the meal

Here is the base before I added the wet ingredients 


Onto my grill for just shy of 6 hours.  half with lid on dutch oven and half off and smoked with white oak


Brought the food in and shredded the brisket and prepared the pasta.  I used pappardelle as that is what is traditntal with beef ragu

Next, I mixed everything together and added some Italian parsley

And I added some fresh baked garlic bread that I made today

The beef flavour was intense in this dish.  I was one of the nicest beef profiles that I have had in a long while.
