What is the best way to clean the stainless grid? BBQ chicken is baked on and it is very hard to remove. Any ideas?

I use bunched up tin foil to scrape the grates down. That plus heat. Don't let yourself get too worried about it. Just knock off the big bits.XL, Small, Mini & Mini Max Green Egg, Shirley Fab Trailer, 6 gal and 2.5 gal Cajun Fryers, BlueStar 60" Range, 48" Lonestar Grillz Santa Maria, Alto Shaam 1200s, Gozney Dome, Gateway 55g Drum

If the stuff persists, heat the egg up to 400-500 for a half hour to hour. Then try again.

High temp burn off. Run your egg up real high for 15-20 minutes. 800 degrees works wonders.
A SS wire brush.
If you have a sand pile/bed you can rub the grid around in the sand. Works great.

Just call it seasoned. Easier to keep "seasoned" than to keep it clean!

if you want to clean your grids often, then get on of these, plastic hot water heater pan. Spray the grid with oven cleaner outside then bring it in and place over the sink when you want to rinse. just make sure the cleaner won't hurt your sink.
