    Season 2, episode 7

Brady's Birthday Bash, for anyone interested... I find it kinda cool when I see a BGE on a cooking show... Even if it's a cheezy one  =)

Brother Phat, I find it cool as well. I keep a eye out when watching interviews, commercials and shows for grills and smokers. It's been many years ago, but I saw Paul Stanley (Lead singer of KISS) doing a interview and he had a BGE in the background. Thought that it was cool that one of the Rock Gods may secretly be a Brisket God as well.

She still looks great for her age no doubt.

But there is no comparison between then and now.

In her prime, she was a knockout.

So this show happens to be on late tonight, and its this episode. She is smoking a brisket flat. 5 hours at 200-225 is her recommendation to get the IT to 180-185 for it to be done. She says you have to use soaked hickory wood chips to get a good mesquite flavor. And using water apple juice mix in a water pan adds sweetness to the meat.

I have to say, I like this girls style. She is running that flat at 200 degrees dome temp. Old school, I love it!!

Classic airhead Kelly!  Using hickory wood for a mesquite flavor is priceless.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

    This is not correct Darby.
yep.  i stand corrected.  i equated "front man" with lead singer.  often the same thing, but in this case.  nope.
