Just a couple hot dogs...

...that happen to be the best I ever ate. I ordered some steaks and chops from SNF and decided to throw in some hot dogs and I'm glad I did. Pickled red onions and dijon mustard on a Double R Ranch dog=awesome.

Hotdogs are one of my very favorites. They are simple, fast, and delicious. I normally like to eat them about 8 at a time. 4 covered with chilli and cheese, and 4 with mustard, dill relish and onions. I absolutley love a good dog. For simplicity, yet greatness, allow me:

Hotdogs really are one of my favorites. I can make a a$$ out of myself eating them.

Those SRF dogs have been calling my name!

Did you pickle the red onions?

I don't think that a hot dog has ever touched one of my eggs...... but I will eat them up with the best of them. SRF most likely brings them to a whole new level.

If we ever happen to meet, we should have a hotdog eating contest. I can consume a reasonable amount. It would be interesting if nothing else.

@SGH I'll take that challenge my friend. Never been to the deep south but it's on the list. A BBQ crawl down there is a must in my books. Would be a pleasure to meet you.

Man that looks good.  I love the dichotomy of that picture.  The worlds most expensive hot dogs paired with the poor kids buns I grew up with.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I use to love hot dogs but then I saw video of Nathans annual hot dog eating contest many years ago.

Now I'm lucky to be able to eat one dog before starting to gag. :)

If you ever down this way, give me a call and we can gorge. Doesn't have to be hotdogs, I'm a shrimp eating pro as well =) I live just west of Biloxi, and just north of Gulfport in a little town called Saucier. I'm about 75 seconds from the corner of Hwy67 and Hwy49. Name is Scottie. Number is 228-627-5400. Again, if you are ever passing through, be sure to give me a shout. The pleasure would be mine my friend.

I've had a similar experience with boiled eggs; saw an eating contest on, I think it was MTV's "Jackass", complete with puking, and I haven't been able to touch one since.
I did enter an eating contest, once, in college.  Put on by Taco John's, $2 entry fee, all the soft-shell tacos you could eat in 10 minutes.  I had no intention of "competing", I was a poor college student and saw a good square meal for $2!

A large room full of screaming supporters can have an effect.  I ended up eating 8, and took 2nd Place; actually got a t-shirt to boot!  Good times.

I would love to take that challenge my friend. On a good day when I'm showing off, I can usually put down 20 of them followed by a good double cheeseburger. Nothing I enjoy more than pigging out with friends.

I'm guessing that famous scene in the movie "Cool Hand Luke" would be a real nightmare for you. :)
