Had to replace the base with warranty replacement. Needed new gasket so went ahead and installed Rutland. Had a little smoke leaking from the left side while cooking but after I shut it down it quit leaking. Just hamburgers and hot dogs, but they were good.

Sometimes simple is better. Hard to beat a few good burgers and dogs in my book.
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
Status- Standing by.
The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out. -
Looks good! BTW even if there is a little leakage initially any escaping smoke is carrying creosote particles with it which will fill the minute air gaps. If you are not pleased after a while holler back and I will give you a proven method of how to adjust your gasket itself just enough to eliminate a still leaking gap. OK?Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

My favorite, hot dogs and burgers.
Large Egg with adjustable rig, Kick Ash Basket, Minimax and various Weber's.
