I bought an igloo sportsman 20

This is basically a Yeti knock off.

It was at Sam’s club for $99. It seems made pretty well. I watched some reviews and they said it keep ice as well as the Yeti.

Anyway it should meet my needs.

@Thatgrimguy  They have had these at Sams club for at least 3 years. They sell a two different sizes a 20 and I think a 40. If I'm not mistaken they are $99 and $199.

They released the 55 4 years ago to test the waters. At the time they were 199 at SAMs. Now they are available several places. Looks like the prices have went up some. Glad to see that they are offering different sizes. Here is igloos first entry into the rotomolded cooler market. The Sportsman 55.

Yes that is what they had there was the 20 and the 40 at those price points.

I did not realize they have carried them for a while. I guess that shows you how much I shop.

I like the cup holders and the measuring marks. You have somewhere to sit your drink down when you are drunk and try to measure your junk.

I have had this 20 qt for close to a year.  It's actually in my truck right now filled with ice from Sunday.  Very nice cooler.  Heavy, but what do you expect from roto-molded.

I'm 2 minutes in and it's clear that dude's totally in tank for Igloo.  Time to subpoena bank records and follow the money.  

Then again, looks like Igloo took every possible metric and improved it.  (Capacity, latches, handles, drainholes -- the list goes on.)

I'd buy it.

Those have been at Sams for a few years, as mentioned above.

 IIRC, the warranty is 5yrs, which may not be a problem unless you own a grizzly bear that attacks your cooler on the regular.

This igloo I just bought comes with a 5yrs warranty. I have never called there customer support. It seems very sturdy like all rotomolded coolers.

 I just needed a better cooler for boating.
