I'm tired of the anti-well done snobs

I'm not eating your steak. Cook it anyway you please!
Honestly, that is why I do not cook steaks for anyone but family.Don't tell your problems to people. 80% of people don't care and 20% are glad you have them.

My Dad used to say, "Just walk it through a warm kitchen" and that works for me. Most cuts I like rare. Some black and blue. But not brisket (for obvious reasons) or burger (unless I grind it myself). But nobody asked how I like my meat cooked and who cares anyway?
Taste is subjective, of course. Unless you like your steak well done. Everyone knows that's just objectively wrong. Well, all the well-heeled folks know it anyway. ¡Viva Los Snobs!

One of the wisest statements I've seen here... But it wouldn't be as entertaining.

Probably more due to the lack of HVAC systems in the 18th century houses weren't quite so warm. Plus wine was kept in cellars where the temps were generally much more stable during a normal year.“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -
This is America brother. You have the right to eat tough, over-cooked food.

@JohnInCarolina - Fortunately I don't buy shoes often but when I do, the cost is measured in SRF briskets. Would that shoes were "less expensive".Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
