Prime Sirloin on the MiniMax

Nothing special, but very tasty and tender. It's not a Tenderloin, but at $6.49 a pound at Costco it's a heck of deal for Prime Beef. This guy was 12oz, so at about $4.85 it's a steal of a deal! One note, gotta be careful not to go too rare, I find sirloin a little chewy if not done to a certain point, just me though. I cooked this raised on my woo with a ci grate on the MiniMax at around 475º dome.

The MM and your Jedi cooking skills rock!Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

I do love the MM. Your steaks are awesome. We do prime sirloin a lot, and you are correct it needs medium rare at the very least to maximize flavor and texture."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
