Roughing it in the winter storm

Had to go into work tonight ... I would have much rather been at home in front of the fireplace ...however made some lemonade,
A couple of years ago we had a "snow pocalypse" and everyone was stuck for 3 days. So my game plan was to not be out done .. I brought some bratwurst , 2# of fresh hamburger right off the steer , a dozen ears of corn and a bag or red potatoes for the portable grill.
at first everyone was laughing however once I started cooking everyone quickly changed their tune
no pics as for whatever reason I have difficulty succeeding in that task on this forum
To all those out there really having to deal with the severe cold and power outages. Good luck and stay warm

The storm has rolled through here. Just over 10 inches on the ground. Not so bad considering the build up of storm via media.
ribs, baked beans on the BGE, slaw and potato salad.
Warm night, friends, tunes and crap wine."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

In MD, they are saying don't be fooled, this ain't over yet. Another huge band coming through this afternoon. It is blowing quite a bit, not sure if it actually snowing or not.YukonRon said:The storm has rolled through here. Just over 10 inches on the ground. The Maine Coons are out on the screened-in porch playing in the stuff. (lots of blowing so, ~1" is on the porch. So far we have approximately 14". -
@YukonRon - Out here we finalized at around 4" of snow from the storm. Not much more than the Weds snow. I thought the high-drama weather guessers did a decent job given all the variables.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Weather guessers have been pretty accurate here. I have a good 16" on the ground with more on the way. I'll be happy when this wind calms down.Living the good life smoking and joking

I was watching it on radar, We sat dead. Center in a narrow band that kept pumping snow. Good thing I shoveled the sidewalks last week after the last one. I've shoveled the back deck and front walkway 4 times already to keep the buildup down to a dull roar. The dig-out tomorrow is going to be rough.Living the good life smoking and joking

Reading this conversation sure makes me glad that my "Senior Aged Butt" is living in the South. We have winds at about 30 gusting to 45 and temps going down to 33 tonight, but no snow. I feel for all of you in the North and path of this storm.

Titusville, Fl. and just bought XL and Med BGE. "Every Day is A Bonus" in my world, and my job is to choke the life out of them. Cancer Sucks. -
