Nothing would be more frustrating to me.. than every time I sink a thread someone starts a thread to say it's been sunk....   Eventually I'd just start banning ya'll.  They really need to put active moderators in place so maybe this place could become a cooking forum again.

I was reading it and replying when it got zapped. DoubleEgger, for what it's worth, Darby apologized for that remark and explained it was a very poor attempt at sarcasm, mocking the Donalds tactics, and should have never let it stand.  Said it didn't end up reading the way he envisioned it when he wrote it.  Don't know if this helps much, I would been quite mad as well.

Life is too short to worry about the ebbs and flows of the life expectancy of a thread. Some run way longer than others for what appears to be no reason.  Have fun when the window is open but when it gets slammed shut "no worries".
There are two sentences to the ether at play here- the proverbial "sunk" and the terminal "buffalo".  Who know what drives the initial decision to strike and then the final destination??  At least it's Saturday and still early...

Well thats the end of that thread... Politics does it again..
I'm guessing it was more the "fatty and skinny" photo that some knucklehead posted.

@YukonRon- I guess if you want to be practical about it then go for the car  ;)  But with the reach of the No Fun League you can get back into the game and with the late Saturday start (EST) you can likely accomplish both, but why bother...the car will be there Monday...

@FarmerTom - I generally stay away from posting on the political and other socially divisive topics however, whenever the snake appears (aka HRC) I have to say something.  What a friggin bit-- but I digress.  ;)

Come on, you can't really know this and you're just calling someone clueless for no reason - stirring the pot intentionally or not, but come on, what's your guess as to why the mod clipped it?
    Love you bro!

Hmmmm... that sounds like something only a moderator would say.

Did Tarheel just reveal himself as the Buffalo Hunter? Or, if not the Buffalo Hunter themselves perhaps their scout (or informant if one prefers)?

Geez-got torpedoed but not buffaloed.  The criteria is ever-changing for sure.  But upon further review, I'm sure it's my surfacing of the snake (aka HRC) that brought it down.  Sorry all ;)

My new year's resolution was to not argue politics and religion. It's been great. It's a waste of time. Does anyone ever change anyone's beliefs? My guy's bourbon group discusses these things. Discuss is the key. Ignorant people are closed minded... Why bother? You can't fix stupid.
