Packer Pre-Game

I have started my Packer Pre-Game meal of home made pork & beans and baby back ribs. These beans are the BEST! I set them on the conveggtor with some rolled up foil underneath (to prevent burning the bottom) and use the beans as a drip pan for my ribs. IT IS AMAZING!!!!

Here is a pic of a past cook in Green Bay when I did the beans recipe... GO PACK!!!! You may to stir occasionally depending how you do your ribs, I am doing a 3-2-1 and will stir after the 3 and I am also cooking at 225 instead of 275 with a DigiQ.Remember that grilling is more than preparing food… It’s time with family and friends, it’s your heritage and childhood memories….

So...mixed results on the cook. The beans turned out phenomenal! What a great recipe. For some reason the ribs would not tenderize! 2.5 at 225, then wrapped in foil for 1.5. An hour back on the egg....still stiff. Pulled and put in a 350 oven for 45 min- finally threw in towel because the wife was antsy. Not sure what happened?LBGE in Elm Grove, WI
