Turncoats!  Yes, I know they were in LA before but, come on. Maybe in 20 yrs they'll be in yet another city. Makes no difference to me either way. But, to a Ram Fan...what say you?

They will not be missed, and I don't fault their owner one bit for doing what he did.

STL lured the Rams away from LA 21 yrs ago by building them a dome with public money before we even had a team, giving them a percentage revenue from ANYTHING that happens in that dome, sold "personal seat licenses" to anyone that wanted to buy season tickets, and gave them an easy out once the lease was up.

The former majority owner would have been stupid not to take that deal and the people of LA had every right to be mad at the MO politicians and the unfortunate tax payers in MO.  Now LA gets them back without spending a dime of public money.  Payback is a b!tch.

Wait to see how many millions of dollars was wasted by STL politicians trying to keep the team in STL with all these stadium plans and flying the "task force" all over the country to try to keep it here.  Unbelievable.

@stlcharcoal sadly it's the community that pays in the end. I'm sure it'll all come out on how much $$$ & shady deals were made behind closed doors in attempt to keep them over the years. Yep payback/karma is a ****.

LA has Had their chances with Pro Football. I am curious to see how this will work itself out.  I know nothing on the deal or desire to move back to LA. California is a different place, and LA, is even more different. There is a Ton of Football played in California, especially Southern California. USC, UCLA, SDSU, Chargers, and many others, compete for a largely disinterested population.  People in LA have so many options and other things to do.
I am sure initially there will be support, but the additional tax burden, on a heavily taxed population may wear thin very quickly.
I have been to NFL games in California, and make no mistake, they are major events during big games. However, much of the time, it seemed to me, people were showing up late, chatting with friends over a beer, then leaving, not knowing the first thing about the game they were attending.
Different mindset for sure, but we will see.

LOVE that Raiders are blocked from LA.  I know they need a better partner than Alameda County has been, but that back and forth to LA stuff the Davis family pulls is BS.
    Love you bro!

Yes, and the NFL is not taxed as they are a "non-profit"; nice work if you can get it.

If that isn't a mechanics desk, I've never seen one.  Nice greasy phone.  And I'm glad to see them back.  First NFL game I went to in 69' with my Dad and brother, Rams and the Giants at the Colosseum.

Part of me always feels a bit sad for a city and its fans when a city loses a major pro sports team.

However, the larger part of me just snickers at them for being fools for falling prey to the game that team owners play by having cities play off against themselves by using taxpayer money to build stadiums for billionaire team owners.

    Suckers!

They never were the St. Louis Rams.  Always were the LA Rams and always will be.  Trying to say St. Louis Rams always stuck somewhere in the back of my throat.  But to be honest, I feel bad for the people of St Louis.
