For the eggers in the Mid Atlantic area with access to Wegmans. They currently have pork butts for $.99/# until the end of January.
Stock up, if you don't have any on hand.

$1.68 lb for butts at Sams Club in MN. I noticed they were $1.48 at Walmart yesterday. Lame that butts are cheaper at Walmart over there membership store. I also noticed they have beef ribs. The only place I know that carries them."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Sweet! I still have one in the freezer from the last time they were 0.99/lb. brings a tear to my eye every time I see the high, high price if 1.49/lb currently.

i got hosed and paid $2.99 for one last night. It was 9pm NYE and I said I would bring one to a party today so it's not like I could shop around. I'm sure they are $1.29 again this morning. Bastards.

Bi-Lo had Smithfield on sale last week fo $.79 per pound in my neck of the woods. I grabbed two though I didn't see a sign for a limit.

I'm not feeling quite as special paying 1.25 / lb at RD anymore.
I did notice that Angus Brisket was down in price. Paid 2.75 / lb last week instead of the usual 3.05.
