@northGAcock   Tried your recipe.  Very tasty.  Very dangerous.

I couldn't find the rim salt you mentioned, so I substituted some cold smoked salt that I had made.  Next time I'll be using a crispy piece of bacon.

It's funny how a whiskey on the rocks would be inappropriate at 11am, but a bloody mary is completely acceptable.

theres nothing better than an ice cold rebel ipa at 4 am while checking on a low and slow i think i would have a drinking problem if i was sipping on whiskey though that early

Another garnish I like is a slice of fried or grilled Spam. Yes, Spam. Splooge it out of the can, slice it, pan fry or grill it, and skewer it

Awesome recipe! We like to put crispy bacon into the food processor and pulse it into a dust. Great for rimming the glass.
