Ritz Cracker Crust Fish (pic heavy)

here is an awesome recipe my dad gave me.

didnt do it on the egg, but I suppose you could.

i used snook for the fish, because I had extra, but you can use any white fish.

first, batter fish with ap flour

Then em dip it in a 50/50 beer and egg mix.

Then the special ingredient - RITZ CRACKERS.

Then em fry in canola oil. ( can use coconut oil to be more healthy)

About 2 or 3 minutes each side until golden brown

We have a local place here in Galveston called Gaido's Seafood Restaurant.
That is one of their signature dishes. Snapper Sapporito, fresh garlic and crushed cracker breading. It's the bomb...
except they sauté in butter. ha...ha
    Thank you,

Every try using crab stuffing and making Snook pinwheels? We did some the other day, they were a huge hit.

I have never tried it with snook. However I have done it with both grouper and flounder. Didn't actually make pinwheels but made stuffed fish. It is excellent to say the least.

Looks awesome.  Honestly I don't see a reason to do it on the egg unless you just don't want to stink up the house.

Put some horseradish in that ketchup and then it would be acceptable ;).

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
