Morning All:
Kathy found this recipe and thought it was interesting...you need a cup of chopped cooked ham so I did a couple of ham slices on the small first...
The next step is to melt 0.33 cup butter adding 0.33 cup brown sugar until melted...next in the skillet is 2 cups of the chopped ham, 0.75 cup frozen peas (recipe called for snow peas, but didn't have any), 8 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice, 1 tablespoon prepared mustard, 1 tablespoon ketchup (we used my BBQ sauce instead), 0.25 teaspoon cloves and simmer for 5 minutes...
This mixture gets topped with cornbread (we used two 8 oz. packages of Jiffy cornbread mix)...then on the Egg at 400 indirect...
Baked for about 22 minutes (recipe says 25 or until toothpick in center comes out clean)...once off the Egg rest for 10 minutes...
Turn it over, cut into wedges and serve...
It was a bit different, but tasted pretty good.

Cool. I'm good with anything in a cast iron skillet, especially with corn bread.XL,L,SWinston-Salem, NC

I agree that looks and sounds awesome. I think I would have to finish it off with some pineapple upside down cake to complete the dinner theme.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
