Rutland looks great and the the Swordfish looks perfect from my vantage point. Any other shots w/ grill marks or plated? Well done Sir.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Dome thermometer went out of whack after the Rutland install and fire test, so no grill marks.
. But it turned out great. MIL said she learned tonight that every time she's has swordfish til now it was overcooked. FTW!

Sans Grill marks is a non issue with that delicious plate. Nice!LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Not sure why a new air tight gasket would cause a thermometer to go out of whack unless what you meant was the thermometer was out of whack needing calibration before the new gasket. Is that it? BTW that plated picture is TERRIFIC !!!HendersonTRKing said:Dome thermometer went out of whack after the Rutland install and fire test, so no grill marks.

@RRPoperator error running egg too high on Sunday after installation on Saturday. Like way too high in a clean burn down to the KAB. So thermometer lost calibration and in the dinner cook I was running much lower than I'd planned. Cooked fish to temp, came out great. But no grill marks. It's a 302 thing . . .

I figured you had tweaked your thermo after your outta whack comment.
BTW - Grill Marks are like tan lines, they add to the visual but not to the taste. Very well done,sir!!-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky.
