I can get the seafood dealer's number that my buddy uses for the crawfish competition. He supplies that with about 18,000 pounds per event. He's a real nice guy and might know of someone if he can't do it.

Living in crawfish country, I've never had a need to ship them.

Fisherman's Cove is good, though not markedly better than the other vendors that have been mentioned. I'm not sure if they ship - but I would prefer a vendor that would ship for me rather than doing it myself.

No worries......I am not very knowledgeable abut these little rascals but fear they may not be in season. @Sgh or @nolaegghead would be better resources on this subject. I know there are both natural and farm raised, but not sure of the harvest season. I believe it is more warm water based......aand lord knows we havn't had much in the way of coldness down south. Hope you are succesful and enjoy.

They're out of season. You can get them but the vast majority of seafood distributors don't have them. If you can find them they will be outrageously expensive. Also they're typically small right now. We may have a bumper crop because of all the warm weather.

They are around particularly early this year. I have already had some good ones. However with the imminently cooler weather, I expect they will go dormant again for a bit.

They've definitely been expensive, though.

I did see them somewhere....maybe it was Kenner Seafood. I think they were over $4/lb. This time of year I'm in raw oyster mode. Plenty of $0.50 and even a $0.25 per oyster happy hour.

My fishing buddy said he has the oyster license, has some oyster tongs and knows where to get 'em. But, he says, it will make a mess in your boat. I say back, nothing a hose won't clean, let's do it. I believe the limit is 2 sacks per day.
