We've have a refugee crisis (maybe), a NC Butt Blast and a Presidential Election!  This forum is way too quiet!

If you are asking where I live, my home is 75 miles west of Mobile Al. I live in a little town called Saucier, it sits just this side of Biloxi. If you are asking where I'm working in Mobile, you would take exit 13 off of I10 and go south until lands end. You will be looking at Mobile Mid Bay Port. Aker Solutions is to the far left, Technip is in the middle, and the old Sub-Sea 7 is to the far right.

My job is working the crap out of me right now. Been traveling the last couple of weeks in foreign (west coast) time zones and back. Been a bit out of whack myself. Still kicking though.

Been busy at work. Plus it almost Thanksgiving and this forum turns into a "How do I cook a turkey?" and "How big a turkey can I fit?" bonanza. It gets old reading and answering the same questions year after year after year. Brace yourself, cuz as soon as Turkey day is over, it will become "How do I cook a Prime Rib for Christmas?" forum. =)

  • Currently sitting at home with my sick 7 year old daughter. Hopefully she can stomach some food at lunch. Poor kid, the sound of your kid vomiting is definitely 100x worse than being jostled awake by you cat or dog yaking!

The next thing you know it's St. Patrick's Day and this place becomes a "How many green beers does it take to braise my corned beef?" forum.  Sheesh!  Every stinking year!

You skipped over what appetizers to cook for Super Bowl. Then how to Egg a romantic dinner for Valentine's day. Lamb or ham for Easter (although why we don't rabbit, I'll never know). Next thing you know, Eggers making fun of articles about getting the grill out for "grilling season", then its on to Memorial Day BBQs...After a few years (or ten), you realize that bbq forums go through seasons and they are pretty predictable.
