Just curious if you could attach a democratic name to the same set of circumstances?nolaegghead said:You have creeps and criminals on both sides of the isle. I just took a little republican fantasy and attached a very real name to it...Republican speaker of the house for 8 years. Sadly this is the case. To many losers wanting something for nothing and the taxocrats are all to happy to give it to them in return for votes. And yeah, eventually the money will run out my friend. When it does, who will the liberals and democrooks rob then to feed the hooloigans and miscreants that supported them? Once the God fearing, hard working conservatives are finally drained dry, then we become as useless as the liberals themselves and society will collapse. Our only beacon of light is with Trump.Durangler said:Amen @SGH
I hope this country will finnanly see the light.

Just remember, it's nothing more than liberal bull $hit. I do very well under conservative leaders and go broke under the democrooks. The numbers don't lie. Liberals do.Durangler said:nolaegghead"s scouring the interweb for more ammo!

@SGH,
I don't so much label those folks a losers, but more like unfortunates.
Most were born in a world without fathers that care. Grandparents cared for the babies. What grandparent wouldn't care for their grandchildren? Thus the grandparents were relying on their owed Social Security, but raising grandchildren created a new burden. Thus they need assistance, because the mother & father of the children bailed, or not around. It's those parents, of the innocent children who are at fault, take no responsibility.
They are the ones who I despise, who are able to work, who can work, jobs are there, but feel it's a burden for them to work.
Free stuff creates this mindset.XL BGE, 22" Weber Red Head, Fiesta Gasser .... Peoria,AZ -
@Durangler
I agree to a small degree. With that said, I grew up poor and hard. Struggled for everything I ever had. The only thing I ever asked for was a chance. Not a hand out. That is the difference in conservative and liberal values. They want a free ride. I wanted a job and a chance to prove myself. I'm a 10th grade, uneducated drop out. I have never tried to hide this fact. However I didn't use that as an excuse to be a bum. I applied myself and worked long hard hours and made a good life for my family. As I type this, I'm working 13 hours a night. Been doing it since July 28th and haven't had a single day off. I missed Brisket Camp due to work. So yeah, when I think of those drug ridden hooligans laying in bed waiting on a free check that I'm helping pay, it really angers me. Make them at least clean the streets and ditches for the money. But I guess that you would be cruel or socially unacceptable.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Just to add, working Fathers in the family play a big role the future life of the children. I would expect @nolaegghead would agree with that.

Working? What if the mother has a great job? Cazzy is a stay at home dad. I think having good parents gives good outcomes with children. Plenty of working parents that do a poor job and raise rotten kids.

In his defense, he has more money than you and I combined. I would stay at home under those conditions as well. Doesn't matter who makes it, the man or the woman. All that matters is that someone is making it. I willing to bet a dollar against a dog biscuit that Cazzy isn't receiving government assistance. Any takers?nolaegghead said:Working? I come from a low mid income background. I had 2 great parents, may they RIP. I was taught the honest hard work would pay off.
I'm like you, work hard, pay my taxes, have taken zero handouts. (one unemployment check in 30 yrs)
I stand in the grocery line behind a dude in a $500 suit, Darby hat, gold chains, slick shoes on a Sunday morning , paying for his bacon, eggs, milk and boneless ribeye, with a SNAP card. Follow him to the parking lot as he leaves in a tricked out Caddy. Yea, that pisses me off too.
There will always be takers, and there will always be those who defend the takers with a sad sob word that we need to give more, accept those.
I give every day. Those who say give more should heed to their word and give more. Don't tell me I'm a moron for not giving more.

Your correct, @nolaegghead Good parents create outstanding, hardworking, contributing citizens, like you!
It's those who fail in child rearing contribute to the failure of the system.
Active parents = successful children who grow to be successful citizens/parents
No??XL BGE, 22" Weber Red Head, Fiesta Gasser .... Peoria,AZ -
This^^^^^^^^^would certainly change their tune. Only the people not paying think that taxes should be higher. Those of us paying them deserve a long over due break. The year is not even over yet and I have already paid in enough in taxes to pay cash for the average American home if I had the money back in one lump sum. Really think about that for a minute and then ask yourself, do we really need to pay more? It's really sad my friend.Durangler said:Those who say give more should heed to their word and give more.

@RRP
I owe you a apology my friend for going off on a rant and raving on your post. I let a moment of weakness get the best of me. The mere mention of a liberal usually sets me off. This time was no exception. I will stand down now. Again, my apologies sir.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

I don't know why you guys think I'm some kind of proponent of welfare for people that could work, or that democrats are. We have problems that need to be solved. Problem solving gents. I'm all for that.

Sometimes you come across as quite a liberal bias ideologue.
That said, I'm sure I come across as a quite a conservative bias ideologue.
We all have a place in the community/state/country.
