why no classifieds section for accessories and such?

Yeah, I agree.  There are a lot of reasons to not have one but the bottom line is it would be very useful. 
Used items between members only. 
No stores or other industry postings.

We should get a trial, give a few more people deletion rights so we can weed out any problematic posts and keep it focused on FOR SALE and WANTED.

Someone could aways just start an open thread titled "FOR SALE, TRADE, AND WANTED" Then let it open to posting just ask that responses to posts go to private messages. BGE would probably kill it pretty quick though.

Maybe we could include "Deals" in this new forum section.  I skim the forum most days but would like to be able to look at the deals people find on Amazon... in one place.

The camera forum i used to frequent had this section I used to check daily.  Just throwing it out there.  If Dizzy Pig rubs are on sale we could post it here for the forum members to see.  How would it get policed i'm not sure.

But to answer ya'lls questions, Yes I actually already have something like this but it just hidden at the moment. If ya'll are really serious and want  a place to buy/sell/trade, then I will do it.

I think letting PayPal handle payments is best probably. Just having one off items for sale is prob the best approach. Maybe have a separate dealer thread for stock sales or something. Idk.

@kwdickert - Oh I absolutely agree. PayPal would be the integrated payment provider with maybe another choice. I would definitely NOT be involved in any type of transactions. That would be solely up to the buyer/seller and PayPal.

@kwdickert - I can make it happen in about 15-20 minutes.. But I want to make sure that it's something everyone really wants. The problem is, I will have to find a way to allow 'non-members' be able to list and sell. Not everyone wants to join so, I might be able to allow visitors to post but not accept payments.. not real sure how that will work to be honest.

Give me a few and I will see what I can do.

OK @kwdickert. So here is what I can do. I can do either:

1. Add a 'Store' where transactions can be actually made like via PayPal

2. Add 'Classified Ads' where you can click a 'Buy Now' button but it only sends an email to the owner with the buyer's name and email address and requests to setup payment and delivery..

Ads would look like this:

Maybe a minimum post count just to weed out those that join the forum just to sell their stuff. Maybe like minimum of 10 post before you can list items in the for sell forum.

@scmooseInteresting concept  however, the Ads would not be a part of the forum. Completely separate feature. See the link I posted.

@kwdickert - After looking at both Store and Classified Ads options, I think the Ads would the better solution here. This way, the buyer/seller can work out whatever arrange they want when it comes to payment/delivery. Plus some people may not have a PayPal account..

BTW, The Classified Ads are live right now so you can technically use them anytime you want.

Okay, whatever you want to call it.  It was a very weird move considering you're trying to promote your site then all of the sudden throw a post about you taking a break.

tough crowd. I wasn't aware of the past with the nest but who cares. Stick with the one you want or look at both. I joined the nest because it can host classified listings because im cheap and i don't always wanna buy egg stuff new.
