I am going on a fishing trip with 3 other guys so I will be grilling for 4. We have access to a Weber kettle so I will do ribeye one night and brats with onions on another night. I am looking for ideas for the 3rd night. What are you best fast hot easy cooks for 4 guys? Thanks.

very funny. I was thinking something like flank steak with chimichurri.

Never can go wrong with good ole hamburgers! Maybe spice it up with juicy burgers or something else stuffed in there! For a guys trip its tough to beat a basic bacon cheese burger with toasted bun!

You want high heat, I have likely more than I can handle. Not heavy consumption food, just dried peppers.

What about pork tenderloin to get off the beef kick or some thick cut pork chops?Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
I was always a fan of chicken hind quarters on my weber. Not too high heat, but leave the lid on and there are no flare ups.

Throw on some chicken breasts w/rib meat. Season with BBQ rub over real butter, and they will be done in 60 minutes @ 325. Might put together an aluminum pan full of red potatoes (cut up to small pieces) with onions, green peppers, mushrooms, butter, olive oil, and salt & pepper. Add veggies at 30 minutes if you feel the health need (broccoli and cheese, baby carrots), and simmer till the chicken breasts are 160 IT. The crew will be happy to say the least.

Fishing trip?
How 'bout some fresh caught? Bring some lemon and the right seasonings and some foil. -
+1 on thick pork chops.
With the lid on tight and the vents open the kettle will settle in at 300 or so (maybe 325) and be the perfect temp for cooking pork chops.

you could cook a porkloin the first night, nice sandwiches for lunches afterwards. easy cook on a weber. i bought a propane bullet style smoker years ago for these trips, used to set it up before daylight with a whole turkey low and slow, come back at night to a fulley cooked bird

Cuban stuffed pork chops. Easy and tasty. I've done them camping before

Not confident huh? I would say, cook fish, since you're fishing.
I'm just pulling your leg on the confidence part.

Thanks for the ideas. Yes, we will do fish two nights so I was trying to fill other nights. I'm much less confident with a Weber than an egg in terms of temp control. I'll pack a thermapen and grill thermometer in my baggage. Will take some rub too.

I caught these last weekend.

Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.
