Is the 22'' too small?  Based on 2 people at home but I would use it on hunting and desert trips where there are more than 10.

Cooking for 10 would be painful on a 22", in my opinion.  I enjoy having more room if you can go that route. 

Why not just get both? I've been wanting a 22" myself.

I cook for one and upgraded when the 36" went on sale last spring. It wasn't because of space, but more control and the ability to have different cooking zones. With the 22", if one burner is off for a "keep warm" area, half the grill is off and then the cooking area gets very small.

It was also nice to have when I went car camping and cooked for the masses. They laughed and chuckled when I took it out and was setting it up. Then asked where they could get one when they saw what it could do.

Well I was walking thru Home Depot tonight and there it was. A table top 22'', the last one, no box. Orig $99, marked down to $79. Asked if they had another one but no, manager said I'll take some off of this one,,,,,

$50 +tax - Not bad, I think it was the black friday sale price.

Ill start with this one and see how it goes!
