Cooking a lasagna on the the XL tonight. I got it set around 360 dome and 400 grid. It's smoking a little bit, may not have gotten the last fatty cook burned off plate setter. Will see how it taste in an hour or so. Eating around 6, but it should be done before that though. Will let you all now. May be another reason to have egg just for baking.

OK, Here the finished product. It was great and not smokey like I thought. Great flavour. It's my quick sauce recipe and my wife cooked while I mowed the yard. We had 5 other adults over and we ate almost all of it. We do have little left over for tomorrow. I will differently do this again. It seems to help Brown the cheese better than the oven I think. Took about 45 minutes at 400. Let set for about 25 minutes tell I cut into it.

That looks great.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I am looking forward to dinner tonight, but a sad thighs is it will be gone. SWMBO doesn't like having a lot of leftovers around the house. I will diffently be doing this one again. Maybe we need a lasagna throwdown.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

@Ladeback69 how was the bottom? I've had problems with the bottoms of some of my bakes on the egg getting a little dark. Did you use a water pan?Pittsburgh, PA - 1 LBGE
