Need help with how much to cook.

I'm going to be feeding 10 people on Saturday, how many chickens do I need to make.  I was thinking 3 birds should do it but now I'm not sure.  These folks have never had a spatchcock chicken so I thought it'd be fun.  Secondly, I've done 2 birds no problem but not sure if I could squeeze 4 spatched birds on.

3 medium chickens should work fine assuming your putting out typical sides. Spatchcock rocks!

Thanks @bgebrent, I thinking maybe 3 sides pulse some kind of pies to end the meal.

Old Golfer's phrase repurposed, "never up, never in."  If you can go with four (and with the XL you should make it) then do it.  What's the worst that can happen-leftover spatch chix...tough place to be.   FWIW-
